The overall extent of this feature class comprises the MIDA Control Area. Property owners within the MIDA Control Area have the option to join MIDA, but not all land in the MIDA Control Area is necessarily part of MIDA. When a landowner becomes part of MIDA, their land forms a new "project part." The Enterprise feature class "MIDA_ProjectArea" shows the extent of each of these parts that HAVE joined MIDA.
The MIDA Control Area is split into three polygons:
Polygon named "MIDA Land Use Control Area" designates land in the MIDA tax-increment area where MIDA also has land-use authority.
Polygon named "MIDA Wasatch" designates land in the MIDA tax-increment area that is under Wasatch County jurisdiction.
Polygon named "MIDA Hideout" designates land in the MIDA tax-increment area that is under Hideout city jurisdiction.
