Description: This feature class was put together to help with the location of addresses. Wasatch County has had problems with growth during 2005 - 2011 which made it hard to keep up with all the new homes. During that time Wasatch County was assigned to be the address coordinator for all the cities and towns. Most of the addressing issues have come from multiple agencies, and developers doing their own thing. With the help of a grant from AGRC, for a master address list, the rest of the addresses were put in. In 2012 the economy slowed way down which gave us the time needed to get caught up and make some progress on this feature class.These points are located mostly within the parcel boundary and in front of the house. For larger lots with large frontages or long driveways, the points are placed on the driveway or as close to it as possible to help responders find the access point for the property. In most cases, the point is within the parcel boundary but not all the time. The intent is to place the address point where it is most beneficial for emergency responders when mapped in the 911 system.In 2013, this feature class was finished and underwent a major restructure to conform to the Local Government Data Modal and the AGRC's new address point schema.
