| description: | <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This data was created using boundary data for special service districts, the current city boundaries, a the parcels shaded by their district number. It is updated in January every year and then is used for the taxing year. There could be minor updates during the year if errors are found. This is most likely going to be in the MIDA area as new buildings are constructed. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This data is used in the Clerk's web maps to help the public understand where each district is. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>There are some districts in MIDA that should be shaded the same color on maps. They are the phase one and phase two districts. When a parcel is created in a MIDA district it is assigned a tax district. When a certificate of occupancy is recorded, it moves to its partner tax district. The taxes are the same it is just noting when the timer starts. At some point there could be a third district created for those parcels that hit the year when they are moved out of MIDA and given back to the county. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Partner Districts are: 29 & 38, 31 & 40, 25 & 33, 12 & 23.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
